EL MODENA HEADLINES

The summer league for those players who will most likely be on the 2014 JV team will start on the week of June 17 and end by July 11.  Games will be played at either Esperanza or El Dorado varsity fields.  All game times will be at 1 pm. There will be no weekend games.  The schedule will be made available in the near future.  All athletes wanting to continue to play baseball for El Modena are expected to play during the summer.

The Varsity Team will be participating in the South County American Legion Summer League this year.  Games will be on Mondays and Wednesdays only and begin at either 4pm or 5pm.  There will be a workout at the field on either Tuesday or Thursday each week.  More details will follow in the coming weeks.  The summer season will begin on May 29 and end on July 17. 

The summer camp for incoming freshmen will be held on Monday June 24 - Friday July 5th from 9:30 am to Noon.  The camp lasts two weeks.  Athletes will be taught by current varsity coaches and have an opportunity to play games against other schools in the area. Any time conflicts with other sports or vacations will be worked out.
